CS2Fixes is a fundamental system extension for Counter-Strike 2 servers built on MetaMod:Source. When popular custom modes (such as Zombie Escape, Surf, Jailbreak) were ported from CS:GO to the new game, their creators hit a serious problem: many familiar map features (buttons, teleports, triggers, physics and item spawns) turned out to be completely broken or misbehaving in the Source 2 architecture. This add-on fixes those problems completely.

🚀 Key features:

Fixes for mappers: restores a huge number of entities, including complex moving platforms, custom triggers and door physics.

Raised engine limits: pushes back Source 2's hard built-in cap on the number of dynamic entities on a map, which is critical for large mods.

Movement and physics: fixes players getting stuck in textures, wrong speed gain on slopes and broken animations.

Full API: low-level access to game server events for third-party developers, so you can build very complex custom game modes.

🧱 Important dependencies:

The extension needs MetaMod itself:

🛠️ Installation and setup:

1. Make sure your game server has a current, working MetaMod installed.

2. Open the Releases section of the official repository on GitHub and download the archive for your hosting's operating system (Linux or Windows).

3. Unpack the archive into the server's root folder at:

game/csgo/

4. Make sure the plugin binaries (cs2fixes.so for Linux or cs2fixes.dll for Windows) are exactly at:

game/csgo/addons/cs2fixes/

5. Start or restart the game server once so the plugin initializes and generates its config structure.

6. Configure the add-on, and switch individual fixes on or off for your game mode, in the config files that appear in:

game/csgo/cfg/cs2fixes/

7. Fully restart the server to apply all changes.
