[CS2] Advertisement — a flexible chat ads and announcements system

Engine (base): CounterStrikeSharp (C# / .NET).

Software type: info messages / ad rotation on the server.

Highlight: HEX and standard CS2 colours, multi-language support and configurable timers.

Author: partiusfabaa

Advertisement is an essential plugin for keeping players informed on Counter-Strike 2 servers automatically. It cycles your text announcements in the game server chat at set intervals. Great for showing rules, admin contacts, website/Discord links or VIP purchase terms.

🚀 Key features:

Colour styling: full support for the game's built-in colours and custom HEX codes for a unique text style.

Dynamic tags: use variables (for example, to show the current map, time or player name automatically, if your version supports it).

Multi-language: announcements are shown in the player's own language based on their game client settings.

Timer rotation: set individual intervals between messages to avoid flooding the chat.

🛠️ Installation and setup:

1. Make sure your server has a current CounterStrikeSharp installed.

2. Open the Releases section of the project repository and download the latest cs2-advertisement archive.

3. Unpack the archive. Move the plugin folder to the game server directory:

game/csgo/addons/counterstrikesharp/plugins/

4. Start or restart the server once so the plugin initializes and generates its default config files.

5. Set up your list of announcements, language localizations and timer delay in the generated JSON file at exactly this path:

game/csgo/addons/counterstrikesharp/configs/plugins/Advertisement/advertisement.json

6. Restart the game server or reload plugins from the console to apply the changes.
