AntiDLL by Pisex — native server protection and client cvar scanner
Engine (base): pure MetaMod:Source (native C++). CounterStrikeSharp is NOT REQUIRED.
Software type: local anti-cheat / server protection (client variable scanner).
Highlight: instant reaction — it checks the player's critical cvars the moment they join and bans immediately if forbidden software is detected.
Author: Pisex
AntiDLL is a lightweight and effective local protection tool for Counter-Strike 2 servers that runs directly on MetaMod:Source. It stops cheaters automatically by scanning the client's configuration while they are still connecting.
🚀 How AntiDLL works and why you need it
Most public and private cheats (DLL injectors and other third-party software) have to change the standard behaviour of Counter-Strike 2 client console commands or create their own hidden cvars for certain features to work.
AntiDLL acts as a strict gatekeeper: it sends a fast low-level request to the client of the player who just joined. If critical variables have been changed (or the system has cvars that shouldn't exist in a clean game at all), the plugin treats this as forbidden software and instantly bans the offender before they even load into the map and fire their first shot.
📦 Required extensions and dependencies:
For the protection utilities to work, first deploy the base extension by the same author:
➔ CS2 Menus & Utils (main extension) — https://github.com/Pisex/cs2-menus
➔ MetaMod:Source (current Master branch) — https://www.metamodsource.net/downloads.php?branch=master

🛠️ Correct installation and setup:
1. Make sure your game server has a fresh MetaMod:Source (Master branch).
2. Download and install the cs2-menus / utils extension (if it isn't on the server yet).
3. Download the latest AntiDLL release from the Releases section on GitHub and unpack the archive into the server folder at:
addons/metamod/
4. Open the plugin's config files (antidll.cfg or the equivalent generated in the plugin folder) and set the list of cvars to check and the punishment type (by default — a ban through your current admin system).
5. Restart the game server and check that the protection initialized with the console command:
meta list
⚠️ Important for admins: check and test the cvars you add to the config very carefully before putting them on a hard ban list. This rules out accidental false positives on regular players who use specific custom or legitimate rate configs.
