Admin System is a high-performance modular admin management system (admin panel) for Counter-Strike 2 servers, written in pure native C++ to run on MetaMod:Source. Because it works with menus and the console directly, the plugin is as fast as possible and runs standalone without CounterStrikeSharp.

⚠️ Important note about updates (disclaimer):

Like all native C++ plugins, this admin system talks to Counter-Strike 2's memory directly. That's why major Valve content patches can temporarily destabilize or completely break it. Server owners should regularly check the author's GitHub Releases and update both the core and the extensions right after game updates, so the server doesn't crash when admins connect.

🧱 Foundation (required extensions):

For the admin system to work fully, show menus correctly and handle game utilities properly, the server must first have the author's base extensions installed. Without them the admin system simply can't initialize:

📂 The main core and admin modules:

The base core only reads config files, authorizes admins by SteamID or IP address and gives them the matching immunity and access flags. All the usual admin features (bans, chat blocks, kicks, slaps) are installed separately as independent modules:

The modules repository has separate plugins for each task. Among them are the bans module for managing bans, mutes for muting offenders' text chat or microphone, and dedicated modules for detailed logging of admin actions straight into Discord channels.

🛠️ Correct installation order:

1. Make sure your server runs a fresh, stable MetaMod:Source (Master branch).

2. Download and install the required cs2-menus / utils extension.

3. Download the main admin core (cs2-admin_system) from Releases and unpack the archive on the server at: addons/metamod/.

4. Go to the cs2-admin_system_modules repository, pick the features your server needs (bans, mutes, management commands), download their builds and add them to the plugin's working folder.

5. Set up the current list of admins in the core's config files.

6. Restart the game server and check that all components initialized with the console command meta list.
